American Idol

OK, I'll admit it.  I'm such an avid fan of American Idol.  Have been for the past 5 seasons.  What I like about the show is the chance it gives to some very talented people to realize their biggest dream.  David Cook is still my all-time favorite from all the seasons!  Wow!  Such a talented and yet so very humble guy.  Kind of reminds me of my son in many ways, except Steve can't sing.  Ha!  This year, so far, my favorite is Scotty McCreery.  Love this young guy with his "old soul" voice.  And it doesn't hurt that he's a country singer much like the style of Don Williams, but even better.  We'll see if he can top how I feel about my FAVORITE country singer, George Strait.
You've got some big cowboy boots to fill, Scotty.
