TBT - Birds

It's Throwback Thursday, folks! The image below is one I took one January day in 2013. Wow! Time is flying by.

As were these birds who happened to land within my view as me and my fur babies were sitting outside enjoying a beautiful day in the desert of southern Arizona.

Don't ask me what kind they are ... I'm not a birder ... just a nature lover.

Nightly Prayer

Over 20 years ago when I first moved to southern AZ, I picked up a local publication called The Awareness Journal.

It was published by a young couple who had many forward thinking contributors. I really looked forward to reading their columns.

One in particular was an outstanding writer who wrote the following prayer. I've said it every night since then.

Thank you, dear Creator, for this, another day of life. Thank you for my abundant supply and for that of my family, my friends and for the people of all planes, dimensions and realities. Thank you for knowledge, courage, the love of the light and the wisdom to use it with my brothers and sisters. Thank you for leading us to the place that we shall go, the dwelling we shall reside in, and the work that we shall do. I love you, dear Creator.

Be good to yourself and each other. Namaste'

Use as Needed

I've always loved the music of Enya, so today when it didn't rain (much), I was reminded of this wonderful song, A Day Without Rain.

I wish I could say it was sunny all day today, but we had a sudden cloudburst about 4:00 p.m. These days when it's cloudy and rainy are when I miss the desert sunshine the most.

On my recent trip to Arizona, I shot this image of the sun sneaking up on a palm tree. I knew it would come in handy. Feel free to use as needed.

(I promise, Miss Sun, to never take you for granted).

Take good care of yourself and each other. Namaste'
