Day 4 Photo-A-Day
This is my new favorite sweatshirt, thanks to my daughter who works at Oregon Garden. She has teased me for the last four years about wearing my old 'faves' from Tucson. Lol.
"You live in Oregon now, Mom. It's time you paid some respect to our state."
I love the color of this, but what's even better is that when I wear it, I feel wrapped in daughter love.

Day 3 Photo-A-Day
Trees, trees ... everywhere there are trees! That's one of the things I love about Oregon. More trees than people. I'm no expert, not by a long shot, but I do know that without trees our planet would not survive. So when you see a tree, give it a little wink and say THANK YOU!

Grand Opening
I call this one the Grand Opening because we've been watching its progress day by day. The last few petals are now opening to the Divine.
We planted these giant sunflowers because I believe they are so spectacular. (The birds love them, too). Hopefully when they go to seed, the birds will spread them around. It's wonderful that it's early October and we're seeing these blooms. Love, love, love them!!!

Saying Good-Bye to the Dog Days of August
Some of my rose bushes are wearing the blush of Autumn already. Won't be long now until the crisp air is upon us. Have you noticed how the light is changing everywhere?

Playing with Geese
There are always geese flying over our house and I love them! It just seems that I never have my camera handy when they make their pass. But the other day I had my phone with me and finally got a picture. And then I decided to give them some friends by doing a ghost image. I guess you could say I've been playing with the geese. Honk! Honk!
Some folks believe that Oregon is always rainy, cloudy and gloomy. Not so ... we've experienced incredibly clear blue skies of late and only about 99 drops of rain. Actually, I'm hoping for some of that wet stuff soon. Well, I'm sure we'll get our share this winter, but with the wildfires going on, it sure would be nice for Mother Nature to step up to the plate and rain all over the West.
