Aye Carumba! Very cold here in the desert today. And we have no heat. Seems our heat pump is screwed up. So we live with space heaters for a few days. Could be worse ... like what's happening in the swath of land throughout the Midwest. Rolling blackouts in Texas. Yikes! Frozen and bursting pipes in Arizona. Cactus falling down all over our property because the liquid in them is frozen and when it thaws out, it just breaks off and falls down. The Earth, she is a-changin'. And Al Gore will tell you we still need to worry about global warming. Not! My heart especially goes out to the folks in Australia dealing with a cyclone. A cyclone! Holy Mole! Say some prayers for all of them.
Today's picture has nothing to do with any of the above. I just like it and remember the day I photographed Blake (2nd birthday). What a good time we had. He liked his big bouquet of balloons better than most of his birthday presents. (Also one of my favorite edits).
Namaste!
