It seems like the above statement takes a long time to put into practice. I have the feeling that it wasn't hard for our forefathers to trust themselves, probably a lot more than most of us do. The reason is that they weren't bombarded by the media, the advertisements, all the things that set us up to fear "what might happen" if we don't buy this or that product. My physical mailbox and my email inbox are mostly advertisements for the latest nutritional fix, the latest drug that promises I'll make it "safely" to death. Good grief! Enough!
My advice? Go within to find your own answers. Follow the advice of a wise sage (can't remember who said it but it makes sense) ... "If you don't go within, you go without."
