We woke up to snow this morning ... only about an inch but it's rather unusual for snow to stick like this in southern Arizona. We live on eight acres full of cactus, so we nicknamed our place the Cactus Ranch. After the hard freeze we had a couple of weeks ago (15 degrees), we've lost a lot of old cactus, some of it 100 years old at least. So to see this was quite a surprise. Mother Nature put a kink in the plans for today's adventures in the Sonoran desert, but I sure like it.

So today might be one of those days when doing nothing can be everything. Be open to the moment; just relax into it.
